Europe a haven for Iranian regime executioners

Hassan Tardast, a former judge of the Iranian regime's so-called judiciary who has issued hundreds of death sentences in Iran, has settled in Germany.

Exiled Iranians and Iranian refugees are now trying to bring him to justice.

Tardast has held various positions in the judiciary, such as assistant judge, investigator and head of court. He was head of branch 74 of the criminal court for six years since 2008.

He himself has confirmed that he issued thousands of death sentences during his time in the regime's judiciary, including against Reyhaneh Jabbari and Behnood Shojaii, two cases that received much international attention.

The regime executed Reyhaneh Jabbari in October 2014, which push reported then. She was accused of killing Morteza Abdolali Sarbandi, an agent from the clergy's information ministry, when he tried to rape her. According to Amnesty International, she was sentenced to death after a very deficient investigation and unfair trial.

21-year-old Behnood Shojaii was executed in October 2009 in Evin Prison for a crime he committed as a minor.

In November last year, an Iranian citizen was arrested at Arlanda Airport and has been detained by Stockholm District Court since then on suspicion of involvement in the 1988 massacre of thousands of political prisoners in Iran.

The man is identified as Hamid Nouri, (Hamid Abbasi) born in 1961, and may be prosecuted in Stockholm (case number B 15255-19) for, among other things, violations of international law.

 هموطنان خارج از کشور در صورت مشاهده این فرد گزارش لازم را به مقامات محلی، نهادهای های حقوق بشری و رسانه ها ارسال کنید. نباید اجازه داد ناقضان حقوق بشر و جانیان جمهوری اسلامی در رفاه و آسایش زندگی کنند، بلکه باید پاسخگوی جنایات خود باشند.
